In short: ManySmile does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads. Everything it remembers stays on your own device.

What the extension does

ManySmile is an emoji search tool. You type a word, it shows matching emoji, and a click copies the emoji to your clipboard. That is its single purpose.

Data stored on your device

The extension saves two things locally, using your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else:

Recently copied emoji — so they appear first next time.
Your chosen interface language — so it is remembered between sessions.

You can erase this at any time by removing the extension.

Network requests

To search in languages other than English, and to display emoji images consistently across devices, the extension loads files from our own website manysmile.art:

Emoji keyword data for the selected language (a JSON file).
Emoji images (SVG files).

These requests contain only the file being requested. We do not attach, log, or process any identifying information, and we do not use cookies for the extension. Standard web-server access logs (such as IP address and timestamp) may be recorded by our hosting for security and operational purposes, as with any website, and are not linked to your activity inside the extension.

Permissions and why they are used

clipboardWrite — to copy the emoji you click to your clipboard.
storage — to remember your recent emoji and language choice, on your device only.
Access to manysmile.art — to load emoji language data and images, as described above.

What we never do

We do not collect personal data.
We do not track your browsing or the pages you visit.
We do not sell or share any data.
We do not show advertising.

Children

The extension is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
